    What Is a TRX

TRX stands for total resistance exercise and is a suspension training system that allows the user to complete total body workouts using their own weight as resistance. A TRX has a simple setup, which involves placing the anchor behind a door or attaching the training system to a bar or wall. The goal of the TRX is to increase muscular strength, as well as improve balance and coordination in its users.

Try these movements for 3 sets of 10-12 reps. At first, TRX exercises can seem difficult, but with some practice and consistency, you will notice that you are stronger and able to complete more reps and sets. Do not get discouraged!

    TRX Back Exercises

In addition to the chest, there are also some great TRX back exercises. Some effective TRX back exercises include the TRX Row (you can also do the TRX Single Arm Row), TRX Inverted Row, TRX Y Fly and the TRX Face Pull. Try each exercise for 3 sets of 10-12 reps.

    TRX Shoulder Exercises

Some of the best TRX Shoulder Exercises include the TRX Atomic Pike Push Up, TRX Y Fly, TRX Front Raise and TRX Push Up.

    TRY Strap Exercises

TRX exercises use the strap to help you stabilize the body and provide some resistance as you go through each exercise. You may need to adjust the strap depending on which exercise you are performing. According to the TRX website, the closer your center of gravity is to the floor, and if you are directly underneath the anchor, the harder the exercise will be.

    TRX Workout

Because the TRX System is so unique, TRX offers live on demand classes to guide you through various workouts. You can also access free classes on their website that will take you through workouts such as total body conditioning, lower body strength, upper body strength and even yoga flow classes! These classes range from 15 minutes to 45 minutes.

    Best TRX Workouts

Ultimately, the best TRX workouts are ones that you enjoy and find challenging. At first, many people find this suspension system difficult to work with because of the strength needed to perform many of the exercises. But with a few adjustments and tutorial videos, you will find that the TRX is an excellent tool to help you develop and maintain total body strength and stability.
