    What are Booty Bands

    Have you ever seen small looped resistance bands and wondered what they could be used for? Perhaps you are looking to increase the strength and size of your Glutes but are unsure of the best way to do so. Booty Bands are a small resistance band that you put both legs into and pull up to about mid-thigh height. Booty Bands will provide resistance to many exercises that engage the glutes, adductors and abductors. These portable, lightweight bands will enhance your workouts, grow your glutes and give your butt the lift and look that you’ve been trying to achieve!

     

    How to Use a Booty Band

    So, you’ve got your bands and now are wondering how to use a Booty Band. Booty Bands are very simple and easy to use! In general, most Glute exercises will require the Booty Band to be positioned just above the knees. Simply step both feet into the Booty Band and pull the band up the legs just above the knees. Make sure that the Booty Band is flat against your legs (not twisted) to ensure maximum comfort during your exercise. Depending on the exercise you are doing, you may require different positioning of the band. A quick google image search will show you where athletes position the band for each specific exercise.

    Out of all of these benefits, the main reason why a Booty Band is useful is that Booty Bands are a simple way to add resistance to a number of bodyweight movements. For instance, if you enjoy performing the bodyweight squat, try adding a Booty Band to your squat, around the thighs just above the knee.

    You will surely feel the burn after a few reps as stabilizing muscles that are only partially engaged during the bodyweight squat, are now fully engaged from the added resistance of the Booty Band.

     

    Booty Band Belt

    The Booty Band Belt is a slightly different type of Booty Band that aims to achieve the same objectives as the conventional Booty Band by tightening, toning and lifting the Glutes and muscle in the lower body. The Booty Band Belt is a belt that has two resistance bands attached to the back that will strap onto your feet so you don’t have to worry about the band changing position on the body or coming off your feet. You can change the resistance of the Booty Bands at the back of the belt.
