What Is a Tricep Stretch
The Tricep Stretch is a stretch that targets the Triceps, a muscle that is located in the back of your upper arm. The Triceps is involved in many of our everyday tasks and movements and can often become tight or stress from overuse. The Tricep Stretch is a great way to help relieve this tension and protect the muscle.

How to Do a Tricep Stretch
The Tricep Stretch is very easy to learn and perform. Follow these steps to learn how to do a Tricep Stretch.
Begin in a standing position. Extend one arm up with a towel or resistance band and bend your elbow. With your palm facing toward your back, place your hand down as far as possible.
Take your opposite arm and place it down beside your body. Bend your elbow and reach up with your hand to grab the towel or band. Pull down on the towel/band to enhance the stretch.
Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat on the other side.

When performing the Tricep Stretch, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, begin the stretch standing tall with your shoulder down and back.
